It's all about eating, drinking being merry and kicking back. Chef J has changed up the menu a bit, but all for the better-trust us!

Hello Everyone! We are back and better than ever. I hope this posting finds you all well! We had a nice lunch crowd yesterday and look forward to a great weekend.

Chef J has changed up the menu a bit, but kept all the house favorites. Go check it out.

Our hours of operation for Pre-Summer (up until Memorial Day) are:

Thursday - 11:00 am to 8:00 pm

Friday - 11:00 am to 10:00 pm

Saturday - 8:00 am to 10 pm

Sunday - 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Hello All-

Good News!! The A-Frame has been remodeled and is ready for some action! Mr Leroy-you've probably seen his face around there for the past month-has whipped it into tip top shape. We have also outfitted it with dishes, linens and bedding. The deck is huge and the view amazing. It is rent able for the night, the week, the weekend or the whole dang season!

Don't Step in the Poo!!

Hello All-

Its time to talk about poooooo.....specifically about dog poo at the Marina. We have two stations set up with doggie bags for the offending poo. So, dog owners take note! Please use these dog bags by the boat launch and the beach to clean up after your four legged friends. Also, up in the NE corner of the Parking Lot, where the horse shoes used to be is now the designated dog poo area. It also needs to be cleaned up from there as well.

We understand how important our canine companions are, we just want everyone to know that their poo is NOT part of the fun.

Come Recycle!!

While attending a Conkling Park Area Community Association Meeting (www.cpaca.org) a couple of weeks back, it was proposed to check into a recycling program for the local residents as well as the Marina-which we think is a grand idea.

We are teaming up with Mary Tylman of the Association and hope to have something up and operational in the near future. But, here is the lowdown thus far; there isn't much in the way of a comprehensive recycling program out there folks. OK, I was being generous, forget comprehensive, there isn't even a bare bones program out there. Sure, if you live in CDA or Post Falls there is. But out in Conkling Park and even Worley, we're pretty much on our own. Which is ok, we in the neighborhood are up to the challange.

If anyone has any grand ideas for the Recycling Program, let us know by leaving a comment.

This 4th of July Weekend Celebration was the Best Ever!!

We have heard from several people that this was, hands down, the greatest and busiest 4th of July Celebration in all the Land. We enjoyed getting to know everyone that came out to Conkling Marina.

We want to thank everyone for all the wonderful compliments and support we have recieved, warm fuzzies for all!!

Kudos to the whole wonderful Conkling Marina staff: we couldn't have done it without you guys and gals and a special shout out to Jeff and Chef Jay for serving up delicious drinks and fare. Also, a speedy recovery to George, he twisted his ankle on Saturday night and we look forward to having him zooming around on his Scooter soon.
